Blog Naming is an Art Form – How do I improve my diving?

May 14, 2008

This title is a bit facetious, but true.  Here at GroupSwim, we’ve concluded that it is time to change the name of our blog.  It is called “The Diving Board”, which is cool but doesn’t really do much for us in terms of marketing or drawing readers.  In looking through the search hits we get, quite a few people come here searching for tips on scuba diving and other forms of diving.  While I think this is funny, we need to change our name to improve our ability to be found with relevant search terms.  Bill Ives, a great blogger, pointed this out to us the other day.

So, we need a new name.  We want to blend in important concept(s) that we either promote or built into GroupSwim.  These could include:

  • Semantic Discovery
  • Enterprise 2.0
  • Intelligent Software
  • Enterprise Collaboration
  • Social Collaboration

You get the idea.  So, if you have any suggestions for a pithy and relevant name for this blog, let us have it.  Thanks for your help.

GroupSwim Review on Collaboration Blog

March 12, 2008

A prominent blogger in New Zealand recently reviewed GroupSwim. His name is Michael Sampson. He focuses on Enterprise Collaboration and Virtual Teams in his writing. We really like his material. The two things about GroupSwim he likes the most are our Semantic Engine and Inferred Expertise Identification. Check the post here and let us know what you think.
